Pam is the Owner/Director of WholeHeart Yoga Center, and a certified Kripalu yoga teacher. She fell in love with the non-judgmental quality of Kripalu Yoga many years ago and has been practicing and teaching ever since. Yoga helps her connect with the wholeness of body and spirit, and she loves offering that connection.
Her classes lean toward gentle with plenty of room to become stronger. They are meditative, playful, and balance challenge and ease. By changing and repeating basic alignment and core strength cues in different ways, they work well for many. Pam also finds inspiration for life in yoga philosophy and she shares themes and readings in class.
Outside of WholeHeart, Pam is often found out in nature or in the garden, in music, drawing, supporting social justice work, and continuing to study yoga, meditation, and Ayurveda. Her tiger cat, Lita, occasionally demonstrates in online class!
Kerry is a certified Kripalu Yoga teacher, Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist and Ayurvedic Consultant. She is fascinated by the connection of mind and body and offers grounding practices to support presence, awareness, mindfulness, compassion and connection. Kerry’s intention is to provide a welcoming and safe space for students to explore their inner landscape - what is happening on the inside. She encourages you to tap into your own body wisdom and sense of balance - physically, emotionally and seasonally.
In addition to teaching at WholeHeart, Kerry offers private sessions as a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist, a mind/body therapy, as well as private yoga. She enjoys sharing adventures with her partner, two daughters and their pup. Yoga, live music, dancing, spending time in nature, being with her family and catching up with friends feeds her soul.
Sheila has practiced for over twenty years in the Kripalu Yoga tradition. In her classes, students are invited to listen closely to what their bodies, hearts and minds are calling for, and to work with deeply held tension through gentle movement and breath. Sheila offers space in class to reconnect with inner wisdom, and to emerge with a more peaceful heart to bring into the world. She is drawn to teach because she hopes more people will experience the benefits of yoga beyond the physical practice!
Off the mat, Sheila enjoys exploring the woods and waters of Maine with her family, knitting with friends, taking long walks with her dog, and finding solitude with a good book. She has a long and varied career in the nonprofit world, and is now the Executive Director for Sea Change Yoga.
